Summer School...

Summer School Started this week and all I can say is what was I thinking? I have taken a class every summer since I started college (with exception to the one spent in New Hampshire) and every time I swear that I will never take one again yet here I am. The worst part about this summer is the fact that I am taking summer school where I actually have to go to class 5 days a week. The last time I was enrolled in classes 5 days a week was my first semester freshman year and even then I never went all 5 days so the last time I went to school 5 days a week was high school. The only good part about this class is that when I finish it in 5 weeks I will be done with sign language and done with my foreign language requirement! One step closer to graduation although I have yet to decide if that is a good or bad thing.
Speaking of Graduation I have started redoing my resume in hopes that I will be able to get a part time internship for this coming year. I still have my schedule set up so that most of my classes are online so I have all my days free. I was originally thinking of becoming a bartender but have had mixed reviews on that so as of right now that is my fallback plan. My former boss has also asked me to come back to work part time so if I can get an internship and do that part time while going to school I think I will be set. While I have loved not working this last month I have been missing the babies a lot and while I have been spending a lot of time with Paige it just isn't the same.
I had the babies all to myself a few weekends ago. Their parents went out of town so we had a fun weekend together. We went to a baseball game and saw the Diamondbacks play. It was a very different experience from the last time we went to a game (about a year ago). Olivia wanted to walk around everywhere and at one point chucked her sippy cup down the stadium, I was so embarrassed but luckily it didn't hit anyone. They had the audacity to open the roof at the game even though it was in the high 90's at 5 pm. Olivia fell asleep about halfway through the game and slept through all the cheering going on all around us. Sophie and Mitchie did really well at the game but it was late and Soph fell asleep right at the end sitting in her seat. She was really cute just sitting there asleep. During our weekend we also made a trip to the splash park where they were able to run around and play with some other kids.

Last weekend I was also able to spend some time with my favorite little niece. She is still so tiny but I can't believe how old she is. Such a personality is developing and she is just like her mom. California is still my favorite place but I love being able to come back to my own bed in Arizona. I decided for this week to only bring Tonka out and leave Guinness at my moms house to see how Tonka did alone. Tonka had a really hard time at first he doesn't know ow to function without his "brother" with him. The first few days he would just walk around the house looking for Guinness and crying but now he is getting a little better. We went to the dog park Tuesday and he was terrified of all the other dogs but slowly he let them sniff him and didn't freak out when they came up next to him. He doesn't like when the other dogs bark though, he runs and hides like a little chicken. He is so big now that I sometimes forget that he is still only 4 months old. We will go out this weekend for Kristens birthday and bring Guinness back with us so that Tonka can get back to functioning like normal.

um...can we clarify the statement about paigie..."she's developing quite a personality and she's just like her mom"...i am pretty sure she was FUSSY FUSSY when you watched her and i am not sure how i feel about the implications of that statement. AO

Coughmomcough

Exactly what does that mean?
Anyway, I am delighted that you are re-thinking the bartending idea and I think it is a fine fallback position. While Tonka may have missed Guinness, Guinness appears to have not missed Tonka. He is a fickle little dog;he is more than willing to sleep with Leta. Keep blogging; it is very informative.
