Winding down...

After some demanding from a few people *coughmomcough*  I am here with my second post.  Life has been winding down the last week.  2 weeks ago I came down with some horrible stomach disease that left me puking for about a week.  After that week was over I was so happy to be able to eat again, it was amazing.  Last weekend the babies came over for a slumber party which was a ton of fun but involved me getting very little sleep.  After I picked them up we went and played at the mall and then went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner.  We got home and set up Mitchell and Sophie's beds and got all snuggly as we watched Finding Nemo.  Tiny little Olivia somehow managed to hog my entire bed leaving very little room for me to be comfortable.  Sunday afternoon I took them home and then returned to my house to continue on the never ending saga of writing papers.

Life has begun to wind down for me.  I finished writing the last of my papers yesterday and now all I have left is a group project on Thursday and then I am done for the semester!  I'm not entirely sure what I will do with all my free time now.  With no school and no work I have found myself beginning to be a bit bored during the day.  I am thinking for my next work endeavor I may try to become a bartender.  I am taking a summer school class in June to finish up my foreign language requirement so I am thinking of signing up to take the bartending class then also.  That's about it for me right now but I will keep you posted on the happenings of me!

It's been awhile...

Hello internet world!  It's been awhile since I have done the blog thing but have had a few express interest in me starting again.  My last blogging endeavor was back in 2006 when I was in New Hampshire for the summer with some of the most amazing people I have ever met.  My life wont be nearly as exciting as it was back then but I will try to make it as glamourous as possible.  The last few weeks for me have been so full of change I don't even know where to begin.  I guess I will start at my birthday....

My 22nd Birthday was nothing that I was expecting.  Birthdays in the past have been full of sadness, disappointment, and sorrow but this year was completely different.  Thursday night one of my really good friends in Arizona, Jonathan, threw me a party at his house with a keg.  I hadn't been to a party with a keg since my freshman year but it was so much fun.  We got to sit around a fire pit and just hang out which was really nice.
Friday I drove to California and went to dinner with my Mom, sister, Matt, and Paige.  We had Cheesecake Factory and it was tasty!  After dinner I went out with my friend Rave to Hidden Cafe.  After Hidden Cafe we were going to head down to the beach but Thomas and Vanessa called and said that they were almost to my moms house so we headed back instead of the beach.  When we arrived home it was about midnight and Ann was there.  Anyone who has ever known my sister knows that she is in bed by 10 every night so for her to be out of bed and at my Moms so late was very weird.  I couldn't get a straight answer out of her for why she was there but not to long after Thomas walked in followed by Vanessa holding a brown great dane puppy with a black nose that's a boy!  He was what I had wanted for so long and couldn't believe my eyes that they had gotten him for me.  His name is Tonka and he is the BEST present I have ever gotten.  He was 9 weeks old and 40 lbs which was twice as big as my 6 month old rottweiler/terrier Guinness.  After that we all went to sleep but all in all it was a good day.
Saturday my best friend from high school, Kristen, took me to Glen Ivy day spa.  We spent the day covered in mud, laying by pools, and having green stuff painted on us.  It was a totally relaxing day and it was just what I needed.
Sunday it was time for me to drive back to Arizona.  I sadly had to leave my puppies behind due to some upcoming travels and they have been with my mom ever since because I haven't had time to go and pick them back up.

The weekend after my birthday was my friend Rave's birthday.  She was turning 21 so she had planned a trip to Vegas for her and some friends.  It was a great time with some of my best friends.  Ashley, Kristen, Adam, and I all drove from Arizona to Vegas together and it was an adventure.

The following weekend was supposed to be nice and relaxing but then I decided I wanted to go camping so I recruited my two friends Jonathan and Nate and we headed off to the desert for a camping trip.  It was an interesting time filled with lots of wind, animal noises, and guns!
That's about it for me right now.  School is winding down for the end of the semester and I am finding myself with a lot more time on my hands since I quit my job a few weeks ago.  I will try to keep this updated but who knows what life will throw at me next!
